The occasion of their Majesties' State entry into Deliii was celebrated at Benarcs, where tho King and Queen's portraits wero bomo through tho streets in a howdah on an elephant, followed by a procession a mile in length, and includjnp elephants, camels, infantry, cavalry, artillery. schoc-1 children, and carriages filled with the richer folk. Tho processicn? went through the city b the Queen's Park -amidst enormous enthusiastic' throngs. MEMORIAL TO KING EDWARD. Delhi, December 8. The King laid the foundation stone of tho All-India memorial to King Edward. It was an impressive ceremony.
