The Melbourne boat, which arrived yesterday, brought cherries only,- and these arrived in "good order. Messena lemons, ex the same steamer, brought 20s. per case. Bananas commanded from Bs. Od. to 9s. per case. Eggs are hardening in price in. anticipation for the Christinas season and sold at lid. per dozen. Vegetables— 'Supplies keep up fairly well,; the principal products selling as under:—Cabbages (choice), as. to Gs. sack; other kinds, 2s. to 3s. Od. sack; cauliflowers, 7s. to 10s. sack; carrots, ss. to Gs. sack;.parsnips, Gs. to 7s. sack; beetroot, is. to ss. sack; wlnto. turnips, 'Is. sack; Nelson green peas, 'Is.
