STATE ENTRY. KING RIDES ALONETUMULTUOUS ENTHUSIASM. A MAGNIFICENT PROCESSION. By Tolegraph-Fress AEsocia'.ion-CopyrieM (Rec. December P., 0.50 a.m.) i Calcutta, December 8. The Viceroy, Lord Mnrdinge, tho Governors, the Executive Council, and natives welcomed their Majesties at tho Delhi Station. Troops ■ lined the procession routo to Delhi fort, whero tho chiefs revived their Majesties, who then, made a state entry through Delhi Gate, tho King riding alone on a bay charger and tho Queen in a State carriage. The procession circled Jumnmasjid, thence to Chandnichowk, the guns booming throughout, tho day.
At tho pavilion on the ridge, Mr. John Lewis Jenkins, member of the Executive Council, on behalf of two hundred representatives of British India, presented an address before their Majesties entered tho camp. The King re; plied amid tumultuous enthusiasm, paying tributes to the valued experience of the members of the Legislative Council and British Indias chosen representatives.
