Tho Inspcctor-Genoral of Police has issued strict instructions that boxing contests must not bo allowed to devolop into prize-fights, or exhibitions of brutality, and under no circumstances will infringing be nlloived. Tho clean break is insisted upon and contestants must bo medically examined and certified fit beforo they enter tho ring.
