RECIPROCITY WITH AUSTRALIA. By Telegraph—Press Association—CoarrisrM Ottawa, December 5. There is much disappointment in Canada that as a result of the Dominion elections there will not be reciprocity with Australia. It is considered that it would hare been a step forward in the direction of reciprocity within tho Empiro. The Australian reluctanco to carry the process further is regretted.
HUDSON'S BAY RAILWAY CONTROL., Ottawa, December 5. The Government is planning an investigation into the contract for the Hudson's Bay railway let by the late Government prior to the recent dissolution. The Government declares that it is not satisfied that the best routo has been secured.
ELECTIONS IN ONTARIO. Ontario, December 5. At the elections there are seventeen uncontested seats. The return of the Whitney Government is certain.
