Herr von Bftthnmnn-llollweg fctrAcd that his Government never understood the English suspicions, hecause they waro utterly groundless. Ho sincerely reciprocated Sir Edward Grey's wish for improved relations bctweon Germany and Britain. Germany wanted to live in peace and friendship with England, but only on condition that tho policy of -England towards Germany was marked by some positive evidence of goodwill.
COMMERCIAL RELATIONS. Berlin, December 5. Tho Rcichstag has passed tho Commercial Relations with the British Empire Bill.
