MINERS' PHTHISIS.

The Miners' Phthisis Commission's report recommends compulsory medical examination of all miners before employment, medical examination of all miners every six mouths, miners medically rejected to be sent to a sanatorium at tho State's expense; the Miners' Claims Board to find employment for tho mcdicallyrejcctcd miners; an Insurance Trust to bo established, miners, owners, and the State cach contributing a third of tho premiums, contributing miners to receive free medical attention and mcdipine. The report has been tabled in the Assembly.
