THE LICENSING COMMITTEE.
QUARTKELT MEETING. The quarterly meeting of the Wellington District Licencing Committee was held yesterday. The following transfers were granted:—Shepherd's Anns Hotel, A. 51. llnick to 11. A. Miicp; Clareudon Hotel, executors of M. Movnihan to Henry Goodwin. -Mrs. Margaret M'Parland was granted permission to ca'rrv 011 the Hotel Cecil until the date of the'next r|iiarte_rly meeting. All application by tho Wellington Harbour Ferries, .Ltd., for a packet license fur the vessel Awaroa was refused.
