London, December 4. It is officially announced tfcat Mr. A. M. Anderson, M.P. for Ayrshire, has been appointed Solicitor-General for Scotland, in succession to Mr. William L. Hunter, K.C., M.P. for Govan, Lanarkshire, who has succeeded (ho Into Lord Ardwall, who was a Senator of the Collego of Justice in Scotland.
