LADY ISLINGTON IN OTAGO.
AN EXTENSIVE TOUR. Dunedin, December 2. Lady Islington and party, who were tho guests or Mi. and Mrs. A. V. Roberts, of leviot Station, returned to town this morning, and proceeded north to join us Excellency. Yesterday lady Islington mo ored to Roxburgh, visiting tho ocal schools, wbero she was received by tho Mayor and a guard of honour of school cadets. I, a dy Islington was much pleased with somo of tho action songs, complimenting Miss Geddes (the mistress), hho also gavo a short address on elementary civics, and incidentally slio strongly emphasised thn need for children treating all weaker animals with kindness. She afterwards paid a visit to the orchards of Messrs. M'Mullon andWaigth and Sous. Tho party returned via Miller's Plat, where Lady Islington also visited tho schools, ana delivered another j address.
