Messrs. J. H. Bethune and Co. announce in our auction columns an advertisement with regard to a Bale which thoy are holding on Monday, December 11, at 2.30 p.m. Under instructions from the mortgagee, they are submitting two well-sitnated five-roomed dwellings in Mortimer Terrace. These are Nos. 74 Mortimer Terracc, containing 5 rooms and a bathroom, with front and side verandahs, and largo basement, on land having a frontago of 35ft. Tin.; and No. 7G Mortimer Terrace, containing 5 rooms with bathroom and front verandah, on land 15ft. by !)2ft., having an entrance 15ft. wide from Mortimer Terrace. Bethune and Co, announce that on Tuesday, December 12, at 2 p.m., on the premises, No. 272 Willis Street, they are selling (under instructions by the holders of a bill of sale) a quantity of machinery and plant. Amongst tho articles to bo submitted are engine and boiler, circular saw,_ cooper's anvil and bench, shaping,_ planing, morticing, painting, and boring machines, turning lathe, tarpaulins, and- belting. Tho machinery will be on view on tho morning of sale. A'l the New Theatre to-morrow afternoon the Brotherhood Pleasant Sunday afternoon will take tho form of a Veterans' Day, when visitors from 11.M.5. Powerful, will bo present, llis Excellency, Vicc-Admiral King-Hall, who will bo present, will speak a few words to the veterans.
