(Palmerston North branch) report :-At our HnnterTille sale on November 28, we had a fair entry of cattle, all of which sold re.tdilv as bc-low:-Small yoarling heifers, £2 lis.; medium two-year steers, to £4 65.: Shorthorn bulls, to £5 oa.; backward springing cows, to £6 ss, Jlesars. Dalgety and Co., Ltd.. report on' their Unper Hutt sale yesterday, as follows:—Wo submitted a large yardiim of cattle, but a Small one of sheep. The demand, was very (rood, and youni; cattle and goad quality dairy cows sold especially well. Prices realised were well up to late ratos, and we ouote as follows:— Woolly two-tooth ewes (with few lambs), 155.; springine cows, £5 ss. to £6 10s.; winter calvors. £4 15s. to £6 10s.; cows with calves, £4 10s. to £5 55.; springing heifer*. £7 to £8 7s. 6d.; heifers in calf, £4 to £5 7s. 6d.: eighteen-month heifers, £4; eietal-oen-raonth steers. £2 10s. to £i; fifteenmonth heifers, £2 55.; forward cows, £4 to £5 45.; store cows, £5 3s. to £3 l?.s. 6d.young bulls. £1 15s. to £5 12s. 6d.: old hulls, £1 to £3. ■' ' '.Messrs.
