The Miutawatu Motor Cycle Club wrote requesting (lint; the by-law as to speed of motorcycles should bo enforced, and that drivers of vehicles should bo compelled tt> observe the "rule of the road." A number of minor matters wore dealt with, or referred to the Works Committee.. The reports of the Opera House mid Public •Works Committees were read and adapted. The proposal of tho Campbell Street School Committee to erect swimming baths was .discussed, and eventually a Kub-committeo, comprising the Mayor and Councillors Haydon and Nathan, was set up to confer with the Sclvool Committee.
