ACCOUNTANT STUDENTS' SOCIETY.
6 ■ - The ninth annual report of tho Wellington AccounUut Students' Society was held last night ut tho Chamber of Commnrce. Ur. W. B. Hudson, president nf the society, was in the chair, and there was a fair attendance. The annual report stated that the membership stood at 121, a decrease of four for the year. During tbo year 11 meetings were held, ut which lectures were given on subjects of interest to Hie profession. Tho annual dinner was held on June '-P, and though the attendance was not up to previous year.!, it was a successful' function. The Wellington branch of tho Xew Zealand Society of Accountants made a donation of £29 to the funds of the society. Tho library was well u?ed during the year. Thanks arc due to the council of the Incorporated Institute, of Accountants for allowing members (he use of its library; und to Messi*. Burr, J>«ry, and Williams, who permitted tln< librarv lo •be kept at their chamber.-; and lo lleisrs. Spicer and Pegler and Mr. Thompson for cioirit'ons of their works. Three councillors of (he.
