. 1 PROTESTS FROM SERVANTS. By Teleatraph-Press Association—OoDTright (Ecc, November 27, 10.25 p.m.) London, November 27. Tho House of Commons received 70,000 protests against the Insurance Bill from servants. Mr. Lloyd-Georgo has given notice of 220 new amendments to the Bill, including a reorganisation of tho benefits for servants. Hβ also conferred with friendly societies and agreed that full sickness benefit for 26 weeks should bo substituted for tho alternative previously proposed.
