It is unlikely that the Minister will return to Wellington before the general election. Owing to Mr. G. Jl. Robertson being iinnblo to accept the. Sir George Grey Scholarship (for science), the honour has been awarded to Messrs. I?. M. Bruce and 'it- (equal)—each to receive lijilr ot Hie. emolument attached to tho scholarship. Mr. J A. Mellish, of Southampton, England, has arrived in Wellington from Home, with tje special intention of taking advantage'of the fishing aud shooting Oversea visitors to Ken- Zealand at present include Mr. Win.
