Council:By Councillor Atkinson: "That the permission granted by the council on Mav IVIOII, to the .Wellington Boxing Association to hold professional boxing contests in the Town Hall be rescinded." By Councillor Fuller: "That the tramways maintain the Sunday time-table «crvice on Christmas Day at "ordinary fares." • Hy Councillor Dr. Cameron: "That this council and its officers, in making appointments, give preference to married men or those with dependents on them, where such applicants are suitable and available. That, where men are equal in ability and suitability, preference be given to those with the most dependent?.' .
