An arrival in port from Liverpool, vi.a Auckland, yesterday morning was the New Zetland Shipping Co.'s steamer Opawa. She berthed at the King's Wharf lo discharge the Wellington portion of her cargo, which consists of 23G0 tons. The Opawa left Liverpool on the evening of September 29, and fine weather was met until the Hay of liiscay was made. Here a. "howling" north-east gale was encountered. To-day the Union Company's steamer Kotuku will load Navy coal at Westport from the Westport Coal Company's mines. She is expected to sail for Wellington on Tuesday, mul puts ICCO Ion:: of "bunkers" into H.M.S. Powerful about Wednesday next.
