Brookes and Heath leave Sydney on Wednesday by the Maheno for Auckland. AUSTRALASIAN CHAMPIONSHIPS. (Rec. November 26, 5.5 p.m.) Melbourne, November 25. In the cup singles championship of Australasia, Brookes defeated Rice, 6—l, o—2, 6—3. Tho champion's ground attack, anticipation, and volleying were all extremely skilful, and his opponent never once got a lead. Iu the doubles championship, Heath and Lycett beat Brookes and Addison, 6-2, 7-5, 6-0. Miss L. Addison won tho ladies' singles championship.
