IMMIGRATION LAWS.
Sir, —Some eight or nine years ago two Hindoo brothers from the Punjaub wont to Australia, and started hawking. Ono stayed mostly in town, attended 6chool, and learned to read and write English, rho other travelled in the country, and had no educational opportunities. The educated ono camo to Now Zealand four or five years ago, and has prospered, according to his standard of prosperity, and wants to got his brother over to join him. The New Zealand education test bars the brother, and tho Australian colour law now bars tho roturn of the New Zealander to Australia. Both aro British subjects.—l am, etc., BKITISH SUBJECT.
