BAD WEATHER.
Nelson, November 23. ■ A very severe thunderstorm burst over the district this evening, and was followed by the heaviest fall of hail • experienced for some years. Orchards must have suffered greatly. Dunedir, November 23. The weather hero lias been exceptionally unseasonable for more tlian a month past. The records shoit that this is the thirty-seventh consecutive day on which rain has fallen. Heavy showers descended at frequent intervals to-night, and the temperature is very low.
