—? SUMMARY AND FORECAST. Present indications are for high westerly winds, with a- southerly tendency, and a chango may be expeeted soon from that quarter. Unsettled, showery, and colder weathe.r ia probable generally, and a risiug barometer overywhero shortly. Tho secondary cyclone which yesterday passed through Cook Strait ceased to effect the weather to-day, and the enveloping westerly disturba-iico still dominates general conditions. Rain has fallen in many parts, and a heavy thunderstorm, with, haal, oceurrcd inland in the south to-day. Tho barometer is still very low in the southern districts. D. C. DAACjo.
