KANNA BRINGS KAPOK. After discharging. Navy coal at Thursday Island, the Union Co.'s steamer Kanna (now loading at Westport) will proceed to Bamaranc, to load kapok for Now Zealand ports. She is due at Auckland early in January. PROPELLER FOULED. Just as the Patea Shipping Company's steamer Kapuni was about to leave Wellington for Patea yesterday it was found that her propeller had become jammed in some way. Upon invest Nation it was found that a large piece of timber had got foul of it. After a short delay the obstruction was removed, and the Kapuni sailed at 2.30 p.m. MANUKA ARRIVES 8 A.M.
