ME. AIONCKTON AT SEIKOHANOI. Mr. C. A, W. Monckton, Opposition candidate for Otaki, addressed about 35 electors in the school house, Eeikoransi, oil Friday evening. The candidate received a very attentive hearing, and was loudly applauded. On being asked the reason for there being two Opposition candidates in the iiekl, Air. Aionekfon stated that there was only one—"himself." Tho other was unofficial, and,would not be recognised by the party in any way. The usual votes brought a successful meeting to a close.
