WELLINGTON CRUISING CLUB. On Saturday afternoon the Wellington Cruising Club held their first race of tho season. A fairly stiff nor'westcr prevailed, which compelled most of l.lio yachts competing to reef. Tho courso used was from tho starting lino to the pinnacle buoy and back. Tho Whitn Heather (4min.) won tho race easily, with tho Rona (scr.) second, and the Ail.-vi (scr.) third. A great race between tho Ron a and tho Ailsa took place near the finish for second place., tho former getting across the line about five seconds ahead. The Wiurlward (tlinin.) cams fourth, and the Koliri (!)miu.) last. Tho Port Nicholson Motor Boats' raw was postponed until next Saturday.
