"STAMP-STICKING" REGULATIONS. LEAGUE BEING FORMED. By Telegraph—l'rcss Association—Copyright London, November 10. Many of the newspapors arc agitating for tho insertion of domestic servant clauses in tho National Insurance Bill. They ridicule tho "stamp-sticking" regulations, and declare that tho servants generally arc indignant, and will refuse to contribute to tho fund. This will be tantamount to a tax on householders of 2Gs. yearly for each servant. A league is being formed having for its object tho defeat of tho objectionable clauses. The league will comprise women of all political parties. A MEETING TO PROTEST. (Rcc. November 20, 9.10 p.m.) London, November 20. The Countesses of Desart and Brassey have convened a women's meeting at the Albert Ilall to protest against tho domestic servants' clauses in the Insurance Bill. Promises of influential support have been received from all parts of the counlrv.
