In her:absence 111'?. Ualcombe Brown was appointed acting-president. The report (toes on to sWo Umt 113 lulditional patients were registered, and SSlil visits paid to tho sick poor in their own homes by Klines Sexton aud 51 acandrew. Tho "emergency fund" has enabled tho committee to hand tho senior imrfe <1)2 10s. every month to purchase medicine and comforts for tho sick poor. Tho public is agaiu invited to augmout this particular fund in the usual way.. Thanks aro tendered to members ot tho medical profession for gratuitous services, to subscribers for practical assistance, and to all others who havo co-operated with the guild in alleviating sickness and poverty. • •
