A DWARF COW.
Mr. H. J. Uollier, of Edensjlassic, on the banks.of the Ncpean Eiver, Penrith, New South Wales, has a pure-bred Jersey cow, tlireo years old, which stands only 31in. in height, and has given birth to a calf. Although on the dwarf side, the cow is wellproportioned. Tlio calf is also well-built, healthy, jind frisky, and at three days old weighed 201b. The cow has a good supply of milk, and although the calf is with her •all the time, Mr. Hollier has to milk the animal once a day in order to relieve her.
