N.S.W. ARBITRATION BILL.
REINTRODUCED IN THE ASSEMBLY. By Telegraph—Press Association—CouyrlEkl Sydney, November 18. The Government has reintroduced tho Industrial Arbitration Bill which was dropped last session. Mr. Wade, Leader of the Opposition, declared that this action was not in keeping with the Government's compact with Mr. Willis, tho Speaker, to not introduco contentious legislation. . Ministers argued that it was in keeping with the promise to tho electors to remove the Coercion Act. On August 17, Mr, Holman, who was Acting-Premier in the absence of Mr. M'Gowen, announced that Mr. A. Willis, a Liberal had consented to fill the Speaker's chair and added' that the Government realised that it was impotent to deal with contentious' matters in Parliament, and would hold a short session devoted to preparing for a general election.
