(o 10s.; pinc-applcs, Bs. Gd. (o 10s. 6d.; and lemons, ss. Tasmanian .slurnior apples, es this week's steamer,- brought 11 j. to ,12s. per case.. Mildura lemons brought s*. to ss. Gd. Rhubarb was in heavy supply and there was a good demand for tho Quantity arriving, prices ranging from 3s. Gd; to ss. per .dozen bundles. Cucumbers sold at 3s. Gd. to 7s. per dozen, according to size, and asparagus s{d. to-Is. Id. per bundle, according to size. Hotliousf) tomatoes commanded 3d. to Is. Id. par lb., and hot-house beans Gd. to -Oldper lb. Gooseberries wore sold nt 3-Ul.lo 3}d. per lb. Eggs .were plentiful and the price ruling was lOd. .pez..do'zon. New potatoes realised 15s. to 16s. per cwt. There was little or ' nci. inquiry- for old potatoes, which are hdw practically finished. Victorian onions £$ 10s. per tou. Tho first shipment of this, season's grapes from Nelson was quitted nt 2s. po;- lb.
The market has boon well supplied with other vegetable?, tho price, ruling being: Cabbages (choice),.3s.; Gd.joU. Gd. a sack; other'sorts, Is. Gd. to. 2s. Cd.; cauliflowers (choice), 95..; ether kinds, o;."to 6s. Gd.; carrots,'6s. Gd.; Otaki green pests,' 9s. per sack; lottitce (choico),"'is. Gd. to 55.; other kinds,'ls. to 2s. (id.; white turnips, Is. Gd. a jack. Flowers were in poor demand.
