TEACHING IT HOW TO FAIiM. Tho Wanganui Education Board has made a start with its High School plots. Tho Department has granted tho board a sum , of money to build a place where tho students can cook their food, test seeds, or write up results, if the weather is not _ suitable for work on the plots. According to the Mnnaivntn correspondent of the "Farmers' Advocate," Mr. Grant* bns 4S pupils of high schools coming -to these plots.. They come in ty:o Katlclios, . the Wanganui and Marton. boys toother, and. the .Feilding and Tailiaps pupils another d;;y. Already they have put in potatoes, of various kinds, and going to put in peas and other crops directly. It was found when the camp was going on, at Mr. Short's, that it was most important to- writo everything up each night, and this will bo dono at th? present plots, before the boys leave by the train. Tho trains suit very well. The farly train reaches Marton about half-past nine, from all directions, and leaves about sis o'clock.
