In tho House- of Commons eighteon clauses of tho Insurance Bill were passed in four minutes, with tho aid of tho closure. Tho majority of the Opposition quitted the Chamber. Tho Grand Committee concluded its doliberations on tho unemployment clauses o£ the Bill, in consequence of Mr. LloydGeorge's unsatisfactory repty to tho suggested amendmont of tho Bill. Tho Royal Coll ego of Surgeons has decided not to assist the insurance scheme.
