A letter from tho Archbishop of Canterbury (Dr. Davidsonj was read at a meeting of protest against the "No Temcre" decree on mixed marriages. The Archbishop said he regretted the promulgation by the Roman Catholic Church of a decree which introduced confusion into domestic life.

RESOLUTION BY PRESBYTERIAN ASSEMBLY. (By Teleßrauh.-Press Association.) Dunedin, November 17. Tho Presbyterian General Assembly carried a resolution denouncing tho "No Temero" decree as calculated to disturb the peace of families, break up homes, and seriously affect tho social standing of numbers of people. The Assembly called on the Government to doviso somo weans of protecting tho social interests and civil rights of all parties affected by tho decree.
