The Australasian League football team played tho sixteenth match of tho tour to-day, when they met and defeated Leigh by the narrowest of margins, scoring 13 points to' 12 put up by their opponents. The game, which was fast and exciting, was played in the presence of seven thousand spectators. In tho first half Gilbert scored for Australasia, Francis converting the try. Leigh got a penalty goal, and an unconverted try. In tho second half, Savoury and Barge (scored tries, for the r tourists, Francis converting the latWs. Leigh secured a penalty goal and a converted try. Of the sixteen games played, tho Australasians have won 13, drawn 1, and lost 2. MIDDLESEX AND MAORIS. London, November 15. Middlesex, scoring six tries, defeated the Maoris (? of the White City troupe) who enly ecorod one goal.
