A TOTAL WRECK.

THE NORWEGIAN BARQUE MARGIT. By Telcerapb-PreßS Association-CopyriEht Adelaide, November 14. The vessel wrecked on the South Australian coast, thirty miles north of KingEton, as cabled yesterday, is tho Margit. Tho Margit ran ashore on Friday or Saturday. The crew took to tho boats and sought to land, but wcro prevented from doing so by a heavy surf. On Monday all hands got ashoro with the aid of lifobelts and hatches. Tho Margit has her sails set. She has been forced close in to the shore, and is a total wreck.

A few daya before she sailed the captain disappeared mysteriously. He started for the shore in a boat in order to secnro a pilot, and has not since been seen. The boat was found bottom up on the Middleton beach.
