Ilir Telegraph—Special Correspondent.! Gisborno, November 13. Poverly Bay turf activities will sustiin a heavy loss by tho retirement of Mr. J. Lysnar, who lins, for somo years, raced under tho name of "Mr. L. Furr." Last week, is is understood this popular owner disposed of his fait uiaro Iney, and his promising filly My Lady, to a southern sportsman, and probably thoso horses will next make their appearanco in Southland. He was far from satisfied over Iney not getting a start in an important race at the last local meeting.
