WHITS MAY ISSUE ON MONDAY. The compilation of tlio electoral rolls for tlio Wellington ili.itricts is now fairly well forward. All (lio main rolls Imve been prepared, anil the names of I .'it u applicants, mostly new people in tlio districts, are being included in Iho supplementary rolls. Ju spile of initial difficulties, (lie registrars are of opinion that they will be in a position Io submit very clean rolls when election day comes. At present Lhey havo worked np all iirn'lirs, a,nd they are ready now for the instruction lo close down, when (lie writs are issued. JI is not tlw custom of tins Government to give, nnv notice of when this ivill happen, hill tiie general opinion is that the writs will be issued on Monday next. And tho last limo_ for receiving applications for enrolment is at (1 o'clock on the same day on which tlio writs issue. Now is Hie time when doctors, ill order to bo sure that, they arc enrolled, should in;pent the roll for their district. Electors who are moving their place of r>7* dancc or who have done so very rcvirlv, would be wise to take a siuilar prjciution, in order that they may no sure that tliev will not bo debarred from voting. Tlio day of the dosing of the i\.'ls is tlio last day for applying for ibwnt voters' permits, so that those who expect to 1m away from Homo on election day ought not to delay much longer about securing their permits. It is expected that the absent voters' privilege vill be widely exercised this year, especially iu the city electorates.
