♦ SERIOUS CHAKGES. (Bi Teleeranh.—Press Association.) Auckland, November 11. In the Supreme Court to-day Judge Edwards sentenced Harold Jcrmy Weston to twelve months' imprisonment for indecently assaulting a. child at Gisborne. Horrible details wero disclosed in charges against Charles William Robinson, a native school teacher, ami an ordained clergyman, aged 35, who pleaded guilty to sixteen charges of indecent assault. The Judge said theso crimes extended over a period of six yeais. It was his duty to see that prisoner was not allowed at large again without the sanctiou of those whose duty it is to say whether such a criminal should be at large during his lifetime. Ho imposed a sentence of ten years on each charge, tho terms to be concurrent, and ho declared accused an habitual criminal.
