MASTER/PON. The result of the election of ■represents' tires to the llastcrton County Council, neld on Wednesday, was as follows:— Opaki Riding—W. J. Welsh, 222; D. W. Foreman, 143; Walter Harris, 139. The two first-named wero re-elected. Rangitumau Riding.—D. J. Cameroa (re-elected), 63; H. IJlatchford, 43. f l he result of the election of two reprosenlatives of the Alfredton Riding is not yet to hand. Fresh nominations are being invited for the Tc Whiti Riding. Messrs. R. F. Beetham and A. J. Toogood were elected unopposed for tho Wainuioni Riding. CASTLEPOINT. The election for Castlepoint Connty resulted as follows:— East Riding.—William Andrew, 18; John Hudson, 16; E. S. Benton, 15. Tho two first-iiamod were elected. West Riding.—A. G. Pilmer, 24; C. T. Richardson, 22; J. H. Cameron, 3. Tha first two wore elected. There was no opposition in tho South Riding, nnd fresh_ nominations are being invited for the North Riding, for which no candidates wero offering. MATJRICEYILLE. West Riding—C. C. Jackson, 94; L. P, Larson, 82; C. Seymour, 74; 0. Isaacson, 08; E, Pedersen, 44. First three elected. East Riding.—J. E. Perry, 74; 11. J. Dagg, 40; R. Judd, 44; F. W. H. Ivummer, 38; J. F. Nickler, 29, First threa elected. EKETAHTJNA. West Riding.—C. Connor, 146; J. Dawson, 134; G. H. Hickman, 99; B. Morris, 97; D. Sheehyn, 82; J. Lomax, 79; S. M'.Mamis, GG; G. F. R-auby, G2; A. Syversen, G2. Tho first five were olecien. There was no contest for the East Riding, as the number of candidates did not exceed tho number of vacancies to bo filled. AiITIO. Rakannui Riding.—liobortson (elected), 37; Morine, 33. Waihi Riding.—Ellingham, 54; Hcrrick, 50; Gilbert, 18; Gillam, 21; Herbert, 18; Uutchings, 10; Miller, 8. First three elected. Pongaroa Riding.—Burling, 9G; Dickens, SG; Dunn, 46; M'lntyre, 30. First three elected. Mataikona Riding.—J. W. Murray (elected), 17; Robbie, 14. Mr. Smith was elected unopposed for the Akitio Riding. ALFREDTON. Tho result of the election for the Alfredton Riding of tho Masterton County was as follows:—Cecil Kebbell, 126; A. Murray, 100; C. E. Cross, 98; A. J. Patchett, 00. The first two wero re-cloctod.
