« "NOTRE DAME DE PARIS." To-night the West's and Royal Picture Proprietary will screen Victor Hugo's masterpiece "Notre Dame do Paris." This picture is one of the latest successes ill natural colours. The manufacturers of this film secured the services of three of the principal members of tho Theatre FTancais Company, Paris, viz., Monsieur Gurry, to play the part of Claude Frallo; Monsieur lvrauss, that of Quaismodo; and Monsieur Alexandre, that of Phoebus; and Mile. Napierowski was prevailed upon to play the part of La Esmeralda. With this magnificent cast "Notre Dame de Paris" is to be presented at the. King's Theatre in kinematograph form." The co-operation of the Cathedral authorities enabled the manufacturers to produce the surroundings as Victor Hugo saw and described them. LECTURE BY PROFESSOR MILLS. To-morrow evening, in tho Concert Chamber of the Town Hall, Professor Mills, will deliver a lecture on "Alcoholic Degeneracy and tho Industrial Republic." ROSE AND CARNATION CLUB. On Wednesday next the Rose and Carnation Club will open its spring show of roses, carnations, pansies, and sweet peas, in the Town Hall. Entries close wit'h the secretary on Monday evening next.
