RIFLE SHOOTING. THE SUBURBS CLUB'S EVENTS. The Suburbs Defence Kifle Club continued their shooting at Miramar for trophies presented to the club by llcsjrs. \V. F. llornig, T. Coltmau, AY. Gower, Ci. Tullock, and J. G. Newton. Shooting will again take place at Miramar on Saturday, at ranges 200, 500, and 000 yards; seven shots at each rancv. This will l>o the last match for the Saturday squad in the No. 1 special competition. The following ranges were drawn up by the Shooting Committee for No. 2 series:— First match. 300 yds., 500 yds., GOOyds.; second match, 300, COO, 700 yds; third motch, 800. 900vds.; fourth match, 900, 1000 yds. ; fifth miilcli, SCO, GOO, 700dys.; nil sevenshot matches. The following arc tho scores of the Wednesday squad at ranges 500 and 700. yards, ton-shot match:— Tho Seniors. 500 700 yds. yds. H'p. T'l. T. T?. Caplin 43 40 sc S3 C. Whitemdii 40 37 sc S3 •T. G.
