Glenfie d, and Gold rin at tho head of the others. There was practically no change as they ran nlong the back, but comuiL' round the turn Passive and Gaelic started to move up. Tyrannic was still in front as tlio last hurdle was cleared and holding his advantage in tho run home won by a length and a half from Passive, who was two lengths and a. half in front of Gold Pin. Anna Carlovna was smartest to Win, and showed the way into the course proper, with Peroneal and Special Form next. Inside the distance Winning Way threw out a strong challenge, and, catching Anna Carlovna fifty yards from the post, won by a long neck. Gnome, who came with a late run, was a length away, with Special Form fourth and Scottish Star at the head of tho next bunch. Time, 49 2-Dsec. Tho field was sent away to a good start, though lMsticuiF was kit at tho post and took no part in tho race. Dearest was first to show out, and with Beacon and Floater in attendance mado play past the six-furlong post and round the top turn. These three named were still the leading division as the straight was reached, where Ireland, Colleen Mary, Rurik, and Kilts moved up. Dearest then retired beaten., and Ireland and Rurik went on in the lead, Ireland winning by a good length from Rurik, who was two lengths in front of Birklino, with Medallist a similar distance back fourth. Passing tho stand Domino and Martine, running abreast, wero showing the way to Goldfinder and Masterpiece, with Vice-Admiral still last. So they ran past Cutts's to tho mile post and along the back, but at tho six furlong post Masterpiece headed Martine and Goldfmdor, with Domino four lengths clear of Vice-Admiral. A furlong lurther on the last-named started to close up. Four furlongs from homo Goldfinder had taken charge, and led into tho straight from Masterpiece. Tho others being closo together, Domino last. At the distance Goldfinder was dono with, and Vice-Admiral made his rim, and catching Masterpiece a hundred yards from Hie post, won by a length. Domino wa<= three-quarters of a length rchind Masterpiece, with Martine a length away fourth, Goldfinder finishing a mg way' back. Time, 4miu. IS 3-sscc.
