FARTHING DAMAGES. By Telegraph—Press Association-Copyright London, November 7. Mrs. Mabel Louise Atherton sued her sister-in-law, Lady Deau Paul, wife of. Sir Aubray Dean Paul, for slander, in stating that plaintiff had been expelled from a hotel at Cairo; also that sho was a disreputable woman. A verdict for plaintiff, damages one farthing, was returned qn the first issue —the statement that Mrs. Atherton had bcei expelled from (ho hotel; and for defendant on tho second issue—the alleged statement that plaintiff was a disreputable woman.
