A three-thousand-gallon tank was blown a considerable distance, and crashed into the kitchen of a house, smashing the walls. - The stationmastcr's dwelling was destroyed. His wifo was seriously injured by falling debris. Massive goods sheds were smashed to atoms and sheets of iron blown nearly, a mile. A largo storeroom was lifted bodily and deposited on the railway line. Many chimneys and small buildings were blown away. The damage is estimated at .£2OOO.
