Stevens, stall' officer to Major M'Donald (commandant of the New Zealand jwnior cadets), for a presentation to tho major prior lo his departure for England for a course of training, « second circular has been sent out: t>a the heels of the first, cancelling the proposal The sccond cit* cular reads as follow:— Circular memorandum for junior cadet battalion commanders Subject: Proposed presentation to Alnjoi T. W. Al'Duiifild. "With regard to a recent 'privat?' cir. cular issued io nil junior cadet battalion com mantlets by me re proposed presentation by junior cadet ollieors and others to Major M'Donald 011 the occasion of tindeparture for training in England, 1 wish to say that .Major Al'Donald, having this day learned contents of same, has instructed mo to take steps at once io stop this movement, which was initiated without his knowledge and of which ite entirely disapproves.
