BODY-FOUND IN THE HARBOUR
Two bodies were found in the harbour yesterday morning. One was that of a mail, the other that of a baby. The body of the man was found near tho Railway Wharf, and has been recognised as that of Duncan M'Coll, once assistant Parliamentary librarian in Wellington. Mr. I'. de B. Brandon has seen a noto which was found on tho bodj', and states that the handwriting is that of M'Coll. As far as lie remembers, he last saw M'Coll on October 24. Eugene M'Carthy, a clerk in the Department of Agriculture, is also of opinion that the body is that of M'Coll. Ho last saw M'Coll on October 25, when the latter stated that he had been working on a farm near Waitotara, and had coma to Wellington for the races. It is stated that M'Coll is a brother of Mr. Alexander •M'Coll, manager for the Tanpo I'otara Timber Company at Auckland. Tho baby was a new-born male child.
