HON. J. A. MILLAR TO ANSWER.
: A UNPLEASANT REMINDER. IBy TelcnraDll.-I'ress Association.) Dunedin, November 5. At a meeting held yesterday the Otago Branch of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants unanimously resolved: "That this meeting enters an emphatic protest against the Minister for Railway's breach of faith in not raising the wages of the lower-paid men lo Sis. per day, as foreshadowed by him wheu dealing with tho Bulget. The amount granted (2}d. per day to married men only) is an insult and a disgrace to the Dominion."
