The sum of ,1:25,000 in notes ami gold has been fouml hidden underneath u sidewalk near the scene of the robbery at a branch of (ho Jiauk of Montreal, in New Westminster, Jiritish Columbia. Tho robbers wore evidently unable to carry oil the booty, and hoped to return. Other of tho notes have been found in circulation in Eastern Canada. Tho police have renewed their activity, and Finkerlou detectives aro hopeful of tracing the thieves shortly. [The robbery took place in September. The robbers dug through the wall of tho bank, and blew open the safe. They took .£OO,OOO, and left notes and gold to the value of ,£SOOO lying about the floor.] AN ARREST. (Rec. November 6, 0.20 a.m.) Ottawa, November 5. Zozeyt, a native of South Europe, has boon arrested at Vancouver, charged with being implicated in the Bank of Jlontreal robbery. Four thousand marked bills wero found in his possession.
