(October 18), and 15 days of rain. Last year tho October rainfall was 4.64 in. The average October rainfall for tho past seven years is 4.06. Foatnerston, November 3— Bright warm day. Mastcrton, November I.—Tho Rev. A. Ilodgc reported at 6 o'clock to-night for tho previous 2<\ hours as follows:—Tcuip. in shade, max. 74dcg., min. <H.2deg., mean 58.1dcR.; earth radiation, 37deg.; earth temperature (Ift. below ground), 57.8deg.; ■wind, light broozo W.i weather, steady, warm day, with pleasant westerly brceio. Hastings, Novomber 3,—An ideal rammer day.
