PORT NICHOLSON YACHT CLUB.
GENERAL MEETING. A general meeting of the Port Nichol. son i'acht Club was held iu the Chamber ol Couiineroe last evening. There wtis a good attendance of members. Mr, Ward, commodore, presided. Two new members were elected. It was decided, on rhe motion of Mr. Bothainiey, to uad the word "registered" to tho titio of tiie eiiib.
Ihe clubs season will open to-morrow. Captain Post's oiler to place tile Tutanokai at the disposal of the club wsa accepted. The steamer will not cruiso round as sho is out of commission, but will remain at her borth, near the King's Wharf. Tho club have chartered the tug Muritai to convey visitors from tho Clyde Quay Wharf to tho Tutanekai, Afternoon tea will ba provided on tha latter 6teamer, and a string baud will be iu attendance. Tho yachts will leave the boat harbour in company at about throe o'clock, and a moving-picture will be taken of them. The Muritai will' leave the Clyde Quay 'Wharf at abuut three o'clock. Tickets for admission to tho' steamer may bo obtained from tha commodore or secretary of the club.
